Jump on your boat at one of several nearby marinas and explore hundreds of nearby inlets, islands, and the bountiful waterways of the California Delta or visit close by Big Break Regional Shoreline and immerse yourself in one of the largest estuarine environments on the Pacific Coast. Big Break is part of the 1,150-square mile Sacramento and San Joaquin River Delta and offers a visitor center with interpretive displays, wetland walks, hikes on the adjoining trails, small shaded amphitheater, picnic areas, a fishing pier, and launch area for kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and boats. With all of this going on, both inside Grand Cypress Preserve and out, no two days are ever alike.
