Oakley gives you the best of every world. There are wide open spaces with views to Mt. Diablo; endless inlets, coves, marshes, sloughs and waterways to explore; an active outdoor lifestyle to keep you healthy and strong; local bistros, markets, and quaint shops; and community gatherings that bring families closer. Additionally, the charming town of Brentwood, with its picturesque downtown and thriving regional retail area is close by, and Oakley's accessibility to bustling employment centers including San Francisco and Oakland is now dramatically enhanced with the opening of the recent Antioch Bart Station.
The Grand Cypress Preserve community is currently served by three school districts: Oakley Union Elementary School District, Knightsen Elementary School District, and Liberty Union High School District. All schools operate on a modified traditional (MT) school calendar. While elementary and middle school enrollment is location-dependent, all students feed into Freedom High School, part of the Liberty Union High School District, upon completion of 8th grade.
